…oh yes. I’ve never attended an Ironman as full day supporter. Now I had the chance to support my friend Danielle, who I met in Siem Reap back in October last year. Also Phillip, Tim & Alex participated and finished at the finish line. They look really fresh after that long day…

Congrats Guys

Congrats Guys

They all participated this challenging event. 3.8km swimming in open water (and it was windy that morning), 180km cycling & 42km running. Amazing what our body and mind can accomplish I’m only cycling a bit here…

Congrats to all you guys. You did fanastic.

I also met again so lovely people. The whole Taylor family, so lovely and open. It’s the second family I met in New Zealand that has a real open door attitude – love it. Whenever my future living circumstances allow it – I’m going to do the same. It’s so great to meet new people and exchange stories!

The day after the race we had a BBQ and went floating down the river, nice and refreshing. Half way down was a hot spring where we warmed up quickly – best things in life are free…

Now I’m on my way south. Will be little bit hilly but it’s good training for the South Island…when I’m struggling with Jake on a hill with rain & wind  – I’ll think of all the athletes achievements…

Show me some love, follow & like me!
