After 3 weeks it was time to say good bye to Nepal and all the new friends from my Kopan family. I had a great time with new insights and experiences. On my last day April and I visited a Tibetan Refugee Camp and we met a very happy lady, who invited us for tea and showed us her house. She is living on assembling some jewellery, so we bought some….

Besides some chill out at the river we rented a scooter and explored the neighbourhood and I again had a great massage at Seeing Hands by blind therapists. Can only recommend it – its worth. Those therapists are well trained and really find the spots. In total went 3 times in Nepal! So good was it!

It was time to fly out to Siem Reap Cambodia so I choose to take a flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu – here I was lucky to see some snowy mountains as the visibility in Pokhara wasn’t so great to hop on a paraglider.

From Kathmandu I had a stopover flight via Kuala Lumpur, not so many international flights from KTM, only into HK, China, Malaysia, India and Thailand. Could have taken a flight to Bangkok and further on by bus. However so i flew to Kuala Lumpur and had a night stopover there. Booked a Plaza Premium Lounge Hotel at KLIA but Airasia only operates at KLIA2, I knew that. What I didn’t know is that my wording pass doesn’t entitle me to go into this section, as you have to clear Immigration between both Terminals.

Hence I couldn’t check into my hotel, they fortunately also have a hotel in KLIA2 but this was fully booked. Talking nicely to people helps, she helped me to cancel by booking (non-refundable) with their Sales Team and gave me a complimentary stay in their lounge for the entire night – food and drinks included. After this rather uncomfortable night I decided to get a 90 minutes massage so saved budget spent immediately 😉

Only little hassle is that I caught a cold since the AC was to cold. Welcome back to Asia!!!

Show me some love, follow & like me!
