Perfect for a party, made this for New Years Eve in Berlin.
Easy to prepare the evening before and very soft texture!
- Cut old buns & soak in warm milk
- Pan fry chopped onions & chopped bacon
- Mix minced pork with onions, bacon, salt, pepper, soaked bread, capers, sweet mustard, soy sauce & chili sauce
- Chill for 2 hours
- Form table tennis size balls and fry them in a hot pan from both sides
- Finish in oven at 180 degrees for 6 minutes
- 1000g minced pork
- 5 egg yolks
- 150g chopped bacon
- 100g chopped sauteed onions
- 250g white bread, soaked in
- 100ml warm milk
- 50g normal & 50g sweet mustard
- 50g capers
- 2 tbs chili sauce
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 30g chopped parsley
- 30g chopped chive
- salt & pepper
- oil for frying
Approx. 50 meat balls
