While in Bratislava I cooked this yummy and easy traditional Slovak dish with Zuzana. Little preparation & then just let it cook…

  1. Boil rice but keep it bit crunchy, let it cool
  2. Heat butter in pot & gradually add flour, stir constantly
  3. Once flour is in, add 100ml hot water, keep stirring to avoid crumbling
  4. Add paprika powder & add broth, let it slowly heat up
  5. Mix minced meat with chopped onions, garlic, eggs, marjoram, salt, pepper & cold rice
  6. Cut bell peppers open at the side which is attached to the plant & clean the seeds
  7. Fill with meat rice mix
  8. From the rest form golf ball sized balls and cover in bread crumbs
  9. Once sauce is boiling, transfer balls & peppers and let it simmer for 30 minutes
  10. Stir in cinnamon at the end
  11. Serve with bread
