My friend Linda was in Laos earlier this year and she highly recommended the Gibbon Experience to me. Throughout my first week in Laos I met so many other traveller who either have been there or going there and everybody only had great stories to share.
It have been 3 great days in the jungle, above the trees and high in the tree houses. I can really recommend it. It’s not cheap and you don’t get a guarantee to see gibbons but all the nature, flying through the forrest with 70km/h and relaxing in the tree houses is totally worth it.
Went on the 3 days / 2 night Waterfall tour with a great group of independent travellers and had lots of fun in great nature.
As pictures tell more then 1000 words – have a look. I also took some videos of me flying around. Enjoy!!!
Met also some locals in the forrest – they are from the nearby village and work there, either as guides or cooking and preparing the houses for new guests.
And some more impressions here.
That’s awesome!! Looks like u fly through the country?!! And ur long hair look is sooooo……. Intriguing ??
Thanks Cat – I believe I can fly! Hehe
I’ll let my hair growing for now, check back on me in 2017…
