Nepali Buffalo Momos – made together with my friend Zepp in the house of his lovely family.

  1. Mix flour with water and mix until smooth (chill in fridge for 30 minutes)
  2. Mix ground buffalo meat with all other ingredients
  3. Flatten the dough and cut out round pieces (using a cup or glass)
  4. put a good teaspoon of mixed meat and fold it as shown in the Youtube video 
  5. pan fry or steam them
  • 500g ground lean buffalo meat (or beef)
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp Meat Masala
  • 1 tsp Special Masala
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp tumeric
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbs mustard oil
  • 1 tbs port wine
  • 300g flour & some water
