Had this during my sightseeing tour in Hue.

Was very impressed by the flavours and decided to put the recipe & video up here. 

  1. Mix minced pork, garlic, shallots, sugar, pepper and fish sauce until well combined
  2. Keep mix for 1 hour or over night in fridge for marinating process
  3. Roll 2 tbs of the mix into a sausage shape around each lemongrass or chop stick and brush with some oil
  4. BBQ the Nem Lui skewers for about 5 minutes from all sides until nicely browned
  5. Wrap it all up like in the video and enjoy with peanut sauce
  • 400g minced pork
  • 3 finely diced garlic cloves
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • freshly ground pepper
  • salt
  • peanut sauce
  • 1/2 tbs sugar
  • 1 tbs fish sauce
  • 2 tbs cooking oil
  • rice paper
  • cucumber, salad
  • chopped green papaya and carrots
  • fresh herbs (coriander, basil)

Serves 2-3 person
