Perfect for a party, made this for New Years Eve in Berlin.
Easy to prepare the evening before and very soft texture! 

  1. Cut old buns & soak in warm milk
  2. Pan fry chopped onions & chopped bacon
  3. Mix minced pork with onions, bacon, salt, pepper, soaked bread, capers, sweet mustard, soy sauce & chili sauce
  4. Chill for 2 hours
  5. Form table tennis size balls and fry them in a hot pan from both sides
  6. Finish in oven at 180 degrees for 6 minutes
  • 1000g minced pork
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 150g chopped bacon
  • 100g chopped sauteed onions
  • 250g white bread, soaked in
  • 100ml warm milk
  • 50g normal & 50g sweet mustard
  • 50g capers
  • 2 tbs chili sauce
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 30g chopped parsley
  • 30g chopped chive
  • salt & pepper
  • oil for frying

Approx. 50 meat balls
